Whenever I need a good smile, I hit up Improv Everywhere . They do pre-planned public events involving anywhere from a handful to thousands of people. Most of the time they put out a call for participants, give them instructions on what to bring, and then the people find out what their project is when they arrive at the rendezvous point. This may remind you a bit of the local Wal-Mart Dance Party that Newspeak/Toilet Paper threw in 2005. It’s about creating chaos, fun and art. Here for your enjoyment is a cell phone symphony at the Strand Bookstore in NYC.
